Welcome to my journal

Hey everyone! 

Stephanie got on to me for not updating my journals very often.  I'm sorry.  I feel like I have nothing new to write about.  I go to the doctor every two weeks for regular check-ups, but it's always the same thing.  My blood pressure is about the same, and everything always looks and sounds good.  I have another ultrasound scheduled for Monday the 8th.  They're gonna check her growth and stuff.  Then, I have my next appointment scheduled for Monday the 15th..  I'll try to write again then!  I hope everyone is doing ok... I'm just getting bigger by the day and waiting patiently to pop little Zoe out!!  

Just to kind-of update everyone on the latest... I had another ultrasound on Monday and everything is great.  We were able to see every one of her organs and she weighs 2lbs, 2oz.  Everything looks normal!  She was also "drinking" while we watched her!  That was really sweet to watch!  Hard to imagine drinking the same stuff you just pee'd in, huh?

I also went back to the doctor today for a regular check-up.  Everything is perfectly fine!  Nothing else is new, so until next time......Buh-bye!

I went back to the doctor on Monday and got amazing results from all the tests they ran.  I had to take another one of those protein/urine tests to check if there was any protein in my urine (there was not) and my kidney function was on target!  Also, last week I was tested for gestational diabetes--that came back negative--thanks for the prayers everyone!!  Also, we came to the conclusion that my blood pressure being so high is caused by "white coat syndrome"...meaning it's really high when I go to the doctor, but when I take it at home it's alot better--I even took my wrist monitor to the doctor's office to make sure it was reading the same as theirs was... sure enough it was!  What a relief.  I'm still retaining ALOT of fluid though--- you guys should see my ankles, I mean cankles!!!!!  Ha-Ha, I crack myself up! 

Anyways, I feel great!  My belly is finally looking like a prego belly, not just a fat girl!   Nothing much new.  I have another ultrasound on Monday to check her growth and weight, then I go back to the doctor the next Tuesday.  He wants to start seeing me once a week to keep an eye on my blood pressure. 

I also registed for lamaze classes that start in January!  That should be fun!  I'm borrowing my friend's husband for a coach!  He's actually excited about it--go figure!!!  Talk to everyone soon!  Have a great week!  Jamie

Justin and I went for our 4D Ultrasound yesterday--it was absolutely amazing!!  Zoe is beautiful! First of all, she is definately a "she" now (we were only 80% sure from the last ultrasound)...  She has perfect chubby cheeks and plump, full lips.  Her legs are long, as well as her fingers and toes.  She likes to keep her hands in her face ALOT!  We finally got her to move them for a couple of good face pictures towards the end of the ultrasound.  I think she's gonna have my nose, Justin's height and big lips!  She'll be absolutely perfect!

I'm so glad we decided to get the 4D done---maybe we'll schedule another one towards the end of my pregnancy.  I'll take some pictures as soon as possible and get them posted on the website!  I don't have the crib here yet though....
