Happy 4 week birthday!!! It seems the time continues to pass by quicker and quicker. Each day you continue to grow and change and your personality is developing quickly! You are still the sweetest baby ever, and like your mommy, your favorite past time seems to be eating! You and I continue to do well with the breast feeding, and you still have not even had your first bottle yet. We're going to have to change that soon though, as daddy feels a little left out between you and me with the feeding ritual, and mommy needs a slight break from feeding every hour and a half. You're also getting ready to go on your first trip to the beach, and I believe meeting Mr. Bottle may give mommy some time to actually see the sun, and spend a little time with big sis in the waves! We are all looking forward to a week at the beach and I'm hoping you enjoy it as well. You've actually donw quite a bit in the last week, most that I am sure you aren't even aware of. For example, you've already went to your first rock concert! Last friday, mommy and daddy took Bailey and Kayla to see Quiet Drive, Reliant K and Kimberly Locke ( and one day someone will tell you exactly who those people are). Then, on saturday you went to see a man that tons of people would give anything to see, Charlie Daniels. You did wonderfully at both of these, the only mishap was blowing the bottom out of your diaper on friday night, no prob though, daddy changed you like a champ with only minimal mess, although I'm still wondering where those poo covered bottoms ended up. Also, you got to attend your first event where daddy had to get up on stage and act silly, something I feel certain will happen many more times in the future. Nickelodeon was at Funfest and daddy had to get on stage and put on SpongeBob pants and catch sponges in his pants. He did wonderful, even though the team he was paired with stunk, and Bailey loved watching him.
You're really starting to hold your head up now and look around and are so alert. You love to lay in your crib and look at yourself in the mirror and just babble away. It seems you've started staying awake alot more during the day lately, even though our night feedings are so sporadic. One night you'll get up twice, and the next night 4 or 5 times. Mommy doesn't mind though, it gives me more time to spend with you.
Right now you are napping in your bouncy chair like a sweetheart and mommy really needs to get some beach packing done!!!
With love

Doctors Visit
We are back from doctors visit and everything went great. Dr. said she it 100% healthy and perfect, is in the 75th percentile for her age for weight, height, and head dimensions. She weighed 9 pounds today, which is a pound increase since July 5!!! She woke up this morning around 815am and was awake pretty much the whole visit, singing and cooing and kicking around, the doctor was very impressed with her. She doesnt go back now until August 27, and thats for the dreaded shots visit, yuck!
Last night she was getting kinda fussy since she's discovered lots more goes on while she's awake instead of asleep, and now she hates napping. Sooo, daddy and I decided to give her another bath, she really liked her first one. Scott jokingly said since she was already in such a fussy mood, we may as well make her more mad. She was crying on the way in, and I swear, as soon as she hit that warm water and felt it on her, she instantly stopped. It was amazing! She loved it! Especially watching her leg kick in and out of the water, I don't know if it was seeing the splash or feeling it, or just hearing it that had her so enthralled, but she sure was liking everything about it. She even liked getting her hair washed! She loved when I took the washcloth and dripped the water on her tummy too, she was so good! She wasn't real happy when we got her out though, until we got her all bundled up in her towel and robe and she got to start eating again. I know she slept better last night than the night before, was content laying on her own instead of having to be cuddled or held. She's really enjoying napping laying up against someones chest, and that is her daddys favorite way to relax, with her snoozing away all balled up on his chest. I do hope there is never a shortage of chests for her to curl up on or we may have a problem!

3 weeks old!!!
Aubree,
Today you are 3 whole weeks old and all I can think is where did the time go?? You have changed so much in the last few weeks it continues to amaze me everyday. Right now you're laying on the couch beside me staring and talking contently to a pink bear that Mamaw (Brenda) gave you. So far pink seems to be your color, as you also like talking to big sisters pink poodle. The amount you eat continues to increase daily it seems, in no time you'll be walking it off! Although I'm a little scared that we have created a lap sleeping monster, as you seem much more content sleeping in mommy or daddys arms than any other surface. Last night we actually had to take shifts, to let you sleep sprawled across one of us at all times. Seems soon as you hit a non human surface, you're up and wanting to talk and play. Which is adorable, don't get me wrong, just not as much so at 3, 4 and 5 am. I'm thinking this may be a phase or just a couple nights thing though, as it's only been the last 2 and that isn't a real pattern..........I will say all of the other, more normal hours of the day, I'm perfectly fine with you laying in my arms and could stare at you for hours. You are the most verbal little baby, always cooing and singing in your sleep, making the cutest faces, even your frowns are sweet! I can't possibly imagine what it is you dream about, must be a lot of boob dreaming cause everytime you wake up that's the first thing you go for.
You've yet to have a bottle, but in a week and a half when we go to the beach, you may meet one at some point. Mommy really wants some her and daddy time, don't worry, just a couple hours here and there. It's strange, after this whole 10ish month experience, it feels so brand new with him and I can't wait to get some alone time..... you'll understand and appreciate that one day I promise. His is the most amazing man in the world and you are the luckiest little girl to have him as a daddy. I know he thinks he's pretty lucky to have you too. I hope you get his patience and kindness, and the pure goodness in his heart, cause he is pretty spectacular.
Your 3 week well child appointment is tomorrow and I really hope it's not shot time already! I didn't ask last visit and can't remember the ages on those. Daddy has to work so it'll just be you and I and I hate seeing you stuck! I can't wait to see how much you weigh though. On July 5 you weighed 8 pounds, and I'm curious to see what you have gained.
This time with you is flying little girl and if I knew a way to slow it I certainly would. I only hate your daddy didn't get more time to stay home with us, but we'll have a whole week together at the beach! I know Bailey is certainly looking forward to seeing you dip your little toes in the water......next year you'll be wading right in it with her!!
Much love my little sweetness...
Mommy

First mall visit
Today Bailey and I took Aubree for her first mall visit. We went to meet daddy for lunch, then ran over to Fort Henry Mall. She ended up getting her daddy a number one dad change dish, and I got a baby journal for her. Bailey finally got the much coveted pink poodle Webkinz. We had a pretty good outing. Started off yucky, we were running late for everything, but it got better. The whole breast feeding thing is interesting in public, we had to pit stop once in the fitting room at Maurices, and the other time just used a blanket and sat on a bench in the corner of the mall. Oh well, people will either get over it or pay no attention.
I've added a picture of our mall visit or her and sis, and a few others we've taken along the last few weeks.

2 weeks old!!
Aubree,
Today is your 2 week "birthday". I can not believe how fast time has flown and how much you've already changed. The time you spend sleeping is getting less and less and when you're awake you're cooing and talking and moving those little eyes around like crazy trying to take everything and everybody in. Your personality is already developing and mommy and daddy are starting to figure out some of the little mewing cries and what they mean. You've been on many outings already in your first 2 weeks. The first, was a 4th of July party at your Uncle Jodys house, which turend out to be alot more people than planned. You were wonderful though and everyone was amazed by you and fell in love with you. The second was your well child visit on July 5. After that mommy and daddy took you out for your first lunch at Orchid Bistro on State Street in Bristol. You behaved wonderfully of course and only woke up to eat after the check was brought. After that, on saturday, the 7th, you and mommy had a girls day. We went to Babies R Us and got you that had to have Jeep jogging stroller, you look so much more comfortable in it that the one your car seat attaches to. When it's 90 outside a girl needs some air!! Of course we won't try out the jogging part until you're much older, but it gives you a nice shady spot to lay if we're outside. You've also been to Food City with mommy and daddy for your first grocery trip. Last night, you joined mommy and daddy on date night, and we went to Stateline for dinner, and sat outside. We did try to go for a stroll afterwards but you were ready to get home and eat yourself, so we gave up and headed home. Today, mommy took you to Blockbuster for the first time and of course everyone there thought you were awesome as well. Right now you are laying in your bouncy chair snoozing and looking totally adorable. I can't seem to get enough of you and am really dreading going back to work in a couple months. Hopefully you'll just be visting granny on mommys work days so that won't be so bad.
You've completely taken my heart little girl and I can't imaging my life without you in it, wouldn't want to. Needless to say I think her daddy and sister are crazy about you too. You are such a good baby, and I wouldn't take the world for you!!!!
Happy 2 week birthday little princess, we all love you beyond words!!!!!!
